STIGMA - Albury Wodonga

Date: 08-Dec-2018

The countdown is on for STIGMA.

STIGMA is a production from Devize Co and written by Darren Vizer. That incorporates theatre, dance and physical encounters.

STIGMA draws inspiration from Darren's own experiences as well as a diverse range of stories from people in the broader community who live with HIV. STIGMA aims to change the narrative that HIV is just a ‘gay virus,’ and includes stories of heterosexual women and men.

STIGMA will be performed for one night only at HotHouse Theatre Hume Bank Butter Factory, Wodonga on Saturday 8 December, 2018 at 7.30pm.

The performance will be followed by a Q&A panel session with Darren and cast, as well as representatives of the regional Victorian HIV community and clinical experts from the Albury Wodonga region and across Victoria.
The STIGMA performance in Albury Wodonga is also made possible thanks to ACON, LGBTQI+ Alliance Albury Wodonga, Albury Community Health, NSW Health NSW Health Murrumbidgee Local Health District - and Thorne Harbour Health - formerly Victorian AIDS Council, Living Positive Victoria, Positive Women Victoria
