Grief, Loss & Sorrow Memorial Art Project Early May 2006
This is an art project which allows a small group of positive women to meet, talk and share their experience of the grief and loss that comes with diagnosis and from living with HIV/AIDS.
Each participant will make a personal response to their experience by creating a piece of art. You will be encouraged to share your own experience with other group members and then working with clay (which is a very easy & responsive material) create your own piece of art.
Facilitating the sessions will be Anne Riggs, an experienced artist who has worked extensively in using art to communicate & express feelings of sorrow, grief and loss. Anne will be working with you to help you develop and create your own unique piece of art.
You don't need any art making experience, Anne will teach you techniques and will provide the gentle guidance your require.
